Prison Ministry

 
Union of Christ Church Revival Hope Ministries Prison Fellowship reaches out to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families both as an act of service to Jesus Christ and as a contribution to restoring peace to our cities and communities endangered by crime. We invite you to scroll through the links witin this page you can find further information about how we are doing this and how you can start one within your local area Church.

Some examples of local ministry opportunities are:

  • Conduct an in-prison Bible study, discipleship training, or seminar
     
  • Complete instructor training and become a trainer or trainers
     
  • Serve as a team leader on a local Ministry Delivery Team and use your leadership gifts to coordinate ministry at the local level 
     
  • Mentor a troubled youth or ex-prisoner

Union of Christ Church Revival Hope Ministries Prison Fellowship holds 12-hour training sessions for anyone interested in volunteering to serve with an in-prison team. The trainings are comprehensive and cover all the rules and regulations for volunteering within the corrections system as well as provide practical strategies for developing a safe, effective personal ministry to prisoners.
